Pumps For Creating Pond Waterfalls, Cascades & Fountains  Creating

The handles are stainless steel, the motor head cover is cast iron, the hose couplings are cast iron and strong plastic, the impeller is cast iron and bronze, the motor casing is stainless steel and the filter strainer is plastic and stainless steel. Just plug and play! Our small pond fountain kits allow anyone with the smallest of ponds to enjoy the sounds of cascading waters that fountains create. Our fountain kits are for the pond owner who wants to have the effect of a fountain without paying a premium price for one of the larger floating models.  The
fountain kits are designed for small ponds with fairly stable water level. The
pumps are made with ceramic componants for added resistance. All the fountain kits listed here are equipped with water jets and flow adjusters with side outlets to supply a waterfall or additional accesory. Multiple display nozzles allow you to create single, two tiered or three-level displays and decorative bell patterns. Easy to adjust and install these durable pumps have a full 3 year warranty. The motor has a thermal protection to prevent damage to the pump and the double-grid filter uses no sponges so these systems are very low maintenance. All units have a 20' long submersible electrical cord and run on standard 110 V household current. 
Choosing Your Pump We recommend on average a flow of 100 gallons for every inch of waterfall or cascade width. Don't forget to calculate the final height or "head" of your installation. Ensure the pump you choose can do the job. Don't forget that for every 10 feet of tubing there is an additional 1" (one inch) of friction loss. To minimize flow reduction from your pump use the widest bore of tubing you can attach to the submersible pump.  To build a waterfall that looks natural and has an abundant an even flow we often recommend building a catchement pond at the highest point. Since the pond water emerges from your tubing at a certain speed, depending on the pump you choose, it is a good idea to let the water fill the catchement pond first before the water flows over the cascade to guarantee that there is a uniform flow down the whole width of the waterfall.
