The
Plocher line of products have been proven effective for
over 25 years in Europe. Canadianpond.ca is proud to introduce
this system to our customers, as an advanced water management
tool.

The
founding principles behind the system are: work
with and not against nature, treat
the causes and don't fight the symptoms, and design something
that is beneficial
for all (profitable in all senses). These were highlighted
in a made for tv (German) film about the inventor Roland
Plocher entitled "When the Water Man Comes".
Roland
Plocher developed the Plocher Energy System in the 1980's
applying a unique understanding of energy information
transfer as a means to improve the environment. He designed
a device (The Plocher Apparatus) to imprint information
on a neutral substance, which becomes a carrier material
serving as a catalyst for self- regeneration of a natural
system. Plocher's technique has many applications for
environmental improvement, employing focussed catalytic
processes. Plocher is also a important proponent for
watershed management and believes strongly that the
environment around the waterbody is as crucial as what
is happing in the water in terms of water quality.
In
the field of water managment, the Plocher system is
able to create aeration in a water body by using the
technique to imprint the vibration of pure oxygen on
quartz crystal dust. The imprinted dust is applied to
the lake or pond, and the natural system responds to
this >message< of added oxygen, that ultimately
behaves like aeration. In this way, naturally occurring
bacteria (who require oxygen to thrive) can begin to
consume lake bottom sludge that is the main oxygen consumer
in an eutrophic lake. Studies have proven that seriously
euthrophic lakes throughout Europe and in parts of Asia
are brought back to a state of ecological balance after
Plocher System treatments.
Although
the science behind this system is cutting edge, the
technique has been confirmed as effective by many independent
studies, and was recently studied and approved by the
University of Sherbrooke as having measurable positive
results in improving water quality.
The
Plocher System is effective in ecological restauration
of lakes, ponds and waterways, decontamination of sewage
and soils, water treatment for animal and pets and in
aiding economies of food production to improve profitability.
The
Plocher line we carry includes products for treatment
of lakes and ponds, water gardens and koi basins and
wastewater and septic tank applications.
