 Without
the proper maintenance, heavily stocked fish ponds can become eutrophic as increasing
levels of ammonia and nitrates and high levels of organic wastes upset the chemical
balance of the water leading to fish stress and production losses. Unwanted bacteria
and other noxious microorganisms often begin to grow and thrive in such conditions.
Organisms in such poor conditions quickly become vulnerable to many diseases.
The entire basin can become anoxic if the basin or pond's natural balance cannot
be maintained.
The mixture of high cell-count bacteria in Bacterius specifically
helps address ammonia surplus and reduce the organic sludge that typically forms
within the system. The natural bacteria greatly assists in feed conversion and
digestion. Excess food and feces buildup is reduced and as turbidity is reduced
the water becomes cleaner. This cleansing process results in an increase in production
and a reduction in cost for the fish farmer. Whether you are using the increased
effectiveness of the enzyme mix or the standard 5 billion cell count aquaculture
mix the beneficial microbes in Bacterius Aqua actively compete for the nutrients
in the water.
The bacteria used in Bacterius Aqua are selected specifically
for their safety and their incredible ability to degrade organic material, and
nitrify ammonia and because of the high cell counts they do so at an accelerated
rate compared to other bacteria. The bacteria in our aquaculture mix consume nutrients
in the water that, if left to buildup, could lead to severe health problems which
can mean fish kills and a slower and weaker production ratio. Bacterius Aqua mixture,
especially the high potency formula with active enzymes, will reduce the amount
of available elements that enable algae and pathogenic strains of bacteria to
propagate and inflict damage.

the establishment and propagation of the beneficial microbial species especially
since initial bacterial applications may temporarily increase BOD level (biological

Aqua™ is a mixture of dry Bacillus bacterial cultures and powerful enzymes
combined to safely and naturally reduce ammonia levels, phosphorus levels and
sludge levels in fish growing pens or any aquacultural setting. No activating
is required. Simply toss in the soluble bacteria-filled pouch into your pond.
Easy to apply with fast results. The enzyme rich bacteria is available in a 5
billion cell count or the extremely potent 8 billion cell count. Bulk containers
can be purchased to reduce overall costs.
