The small islands can provide shelter and nesting areas for birds, turtles and other pond creatures as well as shade and hiding places for fish underneath them! Your Islandscape comes in a single box with a handle on the inner sleeve and contains the island, the growing media (special soil mixture), the tether ring for anchoring the island and complete planting instructions.

The unique matrix material of the island, a unique blend of re-cycled polyester fibres, actually allows plants to grow as if they were in rich soil. The roots of the plants absorb nutrients directly from the pond, reducing the phosphates and other nutrients in the pond while flourishing plants bloom on the floating island.
