AquaMaster® Aeration Systems
|
The AquaMaster® aeration systems are super-efficient, affordable and safe. A diffused air aeration system is capable of pumping a synergistic air/water lift from the bottom of a body of water to maximum depth of 35’ (10.7 m).
Ponds and lakes benefits:
- Entire water column circulation - up to 4000 gallons per minute depending on diffuser depth
- Elimination of thermal stratification
- Increased dissolved oxygen levels that stimulate the natural aerobic digestion process thus reducing nutrient levels and associated algal growth
- Elimination of oxygen related fish kills and expansion of the oxygenated habitat and ecosystem
- Reduction of mosquito and aquatic midgen infestations
- Elimination of foul odors from undesirable gases
- Reduction of organic bottom sediment
- Preservation of a healthy aquatic ecosystem and an aesthetically pleasing aquascape to view and enjoy through improved water quality
System's features:

An on-shore compressor, powered by an electric motor, shall pump air through an individual air supply tube (not included) to bottom-mounted diffuser(s) located in the body of water. The air shall be dispersed through a diffuser assembly that is then transferred vertically and will entrain water to the surface of the water body, utilizing micro-bubble technology. This continuous action shall effectively mix, de-stratify, and transfer atmospheric oxygen throughout the body of water.
Compressor is built for continuous operation and equipped with thermal overload protection, an integrated check valve and pressure relief capabilities. Unit shall be oil-free and require no scheduled maintenance other than periodic replacement of the air filter.
Enclosure shall be cylindrical in design and be constructed of minimum 16-gauge stainless steel. Enclosure shall be fully gasketed and equipped with padlock for security, ventilation to provide forced air circulation and an integral cooling fan with thermal protection to guard against excessive compressor operating temperatures.
Diffuser shall provide superior resistance to fouling, calcium scaling, chemicals, fats, oils, grease, hydrocarbons, fuels and solvents.
Technical InformationSizing guide based on lake turnover rate of 1.5 - 2 times per day. This is adequate to aerate most low oxygen, organic bottom sediment lakes |
