This valve is ideal for allowing easy control and management of water basin depth. By adjusting the gates inside the valve you can precisely control or change the depth of your pond. By lifitng all the gates open you can easily drain the pond rapidly and by closing all the gates you can allow the pond to fill to it's maximum depth. This AD model is a resistant 1/2" PVC construction with a heavy steel lockable top. All screws are stainless and corners are anodized aluminum extrusions for strength and durability at an affordable price.

This valve pipe size is available in 4" to 24"  ( 40.64cm x 60.96 cm ).  Flexible couplers allow PVC, plastic pipes or other materials to be easily attached and sealed to the valve for a permanent installation. The adjustable gates, or stoplogs as they are known, have a rubber seal to prevent leakage and stainless steel lifting hooks. We can supply the anti-seep collars, the rat/beaver guard and the protective bar guard as well as the complete valve in heights from 2' to 12' (0.61m  to 3.66 m) to fit into any size berm or dam.

The Water Level Control Structures are constructed of 1/2" thick extruded PVC sheets, connected at the corners by means of specially extruded anodized aluminum profiles sealed with waterproof caulking and secured with stainless steel screws.  The bottom of the structure is sealed with 1/2" thick PVC sheets and also utilizes waterproof caulking for sealant and stainless steel screws to hold it in place.

The stoplogs are also constructed of 1/2" thick PVC sheet and utilizes 3/16" diameter closed cell foam neoprene 0-ring, glued into a groove to mate against the downstream surface of the extruded aluminum track and the top of the stoplog that it rests upon.  The stoplogs are equipped with two stainless steel hooks to facilitate their removal by means of special handle/hook assembly.

This valve is designed to be installed in the pipe line, so the water enters the pipe, then flows into the box, over the stoplogs, then out the downstream side of the structure.  It comes with a handle to remove, install or adjust the stoplogs.

The means of connecting to the downstream and upstream pipe is a flexible rubber sewer coupler.  It will accommodate corrugated plastic tubing, PVC pipe, corrugated metal pipe or virtually any other conduit.

In order to obtain inch-by-inch water level adjustment capabilities, the stoplogs are built in equal quantity of two heights, 5" and 7" tall.  This allows for various combinaisons and nearly infinite adjustability.  Examples: 7+7=14", 5+5+5=15", 5+5+7=17", 5+7+7=19", 5+5+5+5=20", etc.

• Annual maintenance of stoplogs is recommended.  Remove stoplogs and grease the o-ring on each board with a vegetable based lubricant.  Ensure that there is no debris in the tracks or along the bottom of the structure.  Replace your stoplogs after greasing.
