TEST: See THINK PURITY in action!

THINK PURITYTM is an algaecide for pond or water basin in closed systems only. This product must never leave your pond or water garden to reach streams or other surface water systems in the vicinity of the treated pond.

This copper sulfate product is toxic to algae in your pond. It is also toxic to copper sensitive aquatic plants, invertebrates and fish!  Use with caution, following directions exactly, including testing your water before re-treating to make sure you are not going to increase the copper concentration above the safe point.

For ponds with severe and persistent algae blooms where other measures including aeration and bacteria treatments have been unsuccessful. Overuse of this product may create toxic copper pollution in your pond, so use with caution and always test your pond water before re-treating with copper testing strips.

THINK PURITYTMis an innovative formulation that provides an excellent control of algae in ponds. CanadianPond.ca did a test to see how the product affects algae. Here is what it does to Blue Green Algae (Cyanobacteria):

The first pictures shows 2 water samples taken in the same pond. As you can see, it is filled with Blue Green Algae. One picture shows the water mixed (as if it was in a pond with aeration) and the other picture shows the algae resting at the surface.

At the application of a tablespoon of THINK PURITYTM:
     After 90 minutes:
Note the color change in the sample with THINK PURITYTM. You can experience the same type of water color change making it look like never seen before. This is good. It means the product is fighting the algae.

     After 180 minutes:
The color difference is even more obvious and almost all Blue Green Algae has been affected by the product. If you zoom on the bottom of the bottle with Think Purity, you will notice brownish deposit. This is in fact dead algae killed by the product that sunk at the bottom.

    8 hours later:
The algae has faded a lot. We can see that almost no life remains and more deposit is at the bottom of the bottle:

This is after 24 hours.  The layer of algae floating at the surface is wearing out as more and more of a deposit can be found at the bottom:
     After 48 hours:
Almost no Blue Green algae remain alive. We can notice at this state the water clarity and quality has improved:

Finally, after 3 days, we can notice all Blue Green Algae is dead and now sunk at the bottom:

This test is to show you what to expect when a pond is treated wilth Think PurityTM.  The water color and timeframe can vary depending on many factors such as the concentration of the product used and the volume of water.
